Our Mission
What Guides Our Work.
Our mission is to empower people to pursue their life calling by delivering clarity and peace through holistic financial planning.
Our Vision
What We're Building.
Finances that are aligned with and support your purpose and calling.
Our Core Values
Grounded in What Matters.
Our values shape how we think, act, and serve. They guide every decision and ensure our work remains grounded in integrity, stewardship, and long-term care.
Be Righteous
Doing the right thing isn’t optional; it is a way of life. We always put the client’s interests above our own and operate with utmost integrity.
Good Stewardship
We believe in leaving the world a better place than we found it. We use wisdom and care when dealing with clients’ investment decisions and treat your money with as much care as if it were our own.
Net Worth is Not Self-Worth
We believe money is a tool, not a measure of worth. Our goal is to help our clients use their resources to live a life that is full of meaning, joy, and deep relationships.
Think Long-Term
We can achieve so much in our lives when we focus on our desired outcomes and take steps today to impact tomorrow. The laws of compounding can help us achieve exponentially more than we can with short-term thinking.
Our Planning Philosophy
Clarity Over Complexity.
Financial planning should simplify life, not complicate it. We believe in clear strategy, disciplined action, and guidance that adapts as life changes. The goal is not perfection. The goal is progress toward a life that reflects your values.
Who We Serve
For Those Building Forward.
We serve people who work to make the world a better place. Many of our clients serve their communities through military service, civil service, and nonprofit organizations. Our clients come from a range of backgrounds and serve in different ways, so we offer personalized services and support to help you live out your calling.
Meet Your Advisor
Daniel Sargis
Dan grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago and graduated from Bremen High School in Midlothian, IL.
Dan began a career of service at 18 years old when he enlisted in the United States Navy. He became a machinist mate and trained in Charleston, South Carolina at nuclear power school to become a nuclear plant operator. He served on board the USS Wyoming out of King’s Bay, Georgia. He worked on the Wyoming for 4 years and went on multiple strategic deterrent patrols. While in Georgia, he married his high school sweetheart, Laura. Dan left the Navy in 2014 to start the next chapter of his life.
After leaving the Navy, Dan and Laura embarked on the adventure of a lifetime. They went on a service trip lasting one year, during which they traveled around the world and joined up with missionaries in different countries to work alongside them in their missions. They worked on every continent (except Antarctica) by preaching the Gospel, providing childcare, teaching English, and working on building projects. They visited over 20 countries and worked alongside many different cultures and languages. The experience was a challenge, an adventure, and some of the most rewarding work Dan has ever done.
Dan returned home and chose to work in civil service using his skills from the Navy. Dan joined the Nuclear Regulatory Commission as a reactor inspector. He worked to ensure the safe operation of nuclear power plants in the Midwest.
Dan’s interest in helping people with finances began when he started volunteering through a program offered through the University of Illinois to help people in the community organize their finances, begin saving, and pay down debt.
He used his military education benefits to attend Liberty University for a certificate in financial planning. He passed the Series 65 exam and is an investment advisor representative. Today, Dan brings together his background in service and discipline to help individuals and families find clarity, make confident decisions, and build a financial life that supports their goals and their families.

“I started Servant’s Heart Financial Planning because I love to work alongside other people who love to serve their communities. I am most fulfilled when I can help people achieve their goals and live out their own personal mission.”
